In late November, the Holiday Kids Market is in full swing in downtown Iowa City, IA. The market is stocked with modestly priced gifts from downtown businesses and shopping is supervised by Santa’s helpers.
Parents provide a list of everyone to shop for and a budget. Then they wait while kids have the opportunity to shop on their own. Once their shopping is complete and the gifts are wrapped, the children return to their parents.
Drop-in shopping is available, but families are encouraged to register online and select a time slot for this popular event.
The Holiday Kids Market is part of the larger Downtown Holiday Pop-Up Market which runs from early November through late December.
